How scoring works

Nutritional value measures useful nutrients and common nutritional concerns. Longevity support gives greater weight to processing, fibre-rich plant foods, added sugar, sodium, saturated fat, and processed meat.

Overall score Nutrition Γ— 40% + Longevity Γ— 60%
Fibre-aware meals A complete meal with no meaningful fibre cannot score above 5. Low-fibre complete meals cannot score above 6.
NOVA 4 cap Ultra-processed food has a longevity maximum of 3, or 2 with significant added sugar.
Processed meat cap Processed meat has a longevity maximum of 3; NOVA 4 processed meat has a maximum of 2.
